Please read here on how to create a proper bug report, how to include your crash log files, etc. A ticket like this is far too much of a shot in the dark.

Crash log is at: http://pastie.org/210640 I use a Mac Pro 2008 penryn 8 core 3Ghz. 12GB ram. 1x1TB, 1x750GB and 1x500GB. 8800GT 512MB nVidia pcie 2.0 with 30" Display. It runs OS-X Leopard 10.5.3 All my movies for regular use are on a 2TB NAS that is accessible through AFP, NFS, SMB or FTP. I always use AFP sins I use an Apple. I also tested a file on the computer itself with the same effect. Any movie SD or HD crashes with any type of software upscaling active (I tested SD AVI, 720p MKV 1080p MKV). Deactivate upscaling and crashes are gone. I also did some testing (a little) on my mini (standard c2d 1,83) It just did not play any file when upscaling was active, but it did not crash. The mini has only Leopard, some iLife apps and osxbmc installed.

If there is anything more you guys like to know, I am happy to help.
